Lavender Hydrosol is produced during the steam distillation of essential lavender oil. During this process a small amount of lavender essential oil is permanently suspended among the water molecules resulting in a lightly scented "floral water". Hydrosol is an ideal means of experiencing the aromatic benefits of essential oil in a lighter scented spray. Hydrosols do however retain many of the therapeutic properties of the essential oil.

This hydrosol carries its own unique benefits to the skin that can include; nourishment, hydration and rejuvenation, along with being anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial.

Hydrosols can be used as a face mist to enliven and tone the skin, as a body fragrance or to freshen a room. Spraying your pillows just before bed is one of our favorite ways to drift off into a deep, restorative sleep.
